Awareness-raising campaign for small businesses on cyber security

Estonian Information System’s Authority commissioned a cyber security campaign by autumn 2020 to make small businesses aware of the threats they face in cyberspace and to provide tips for noticing and mitigating threats. The campaign was voluminous – Haap’s role in the first phase of the campaign was to conduct four focus groups (two in Estonian and two in Russian) to better understand how entrepreneurs think about cyber security today and what would be the best way to approach them with the topic. Based on the findings, a communication plan and visuals were prepared.

In the second phase of the campaign, Haap was tasked with finding opportunities for different spokespersons to talk about cyber security issues during events or seminars. As the period of appearances coincided with the spread of the COVID virus, solutions had to be smart and flexible. We supported the client with project management and involved professional spokespersons.

The nationwide campaign included video clips, an updated website and outdoor ads. You can read more about the campaign here.
