Haap Consulting is a strategic partner for companies in applying for public funding and preparing research and development (R&D) projects. We supported Ensto Estonia AS in preparing an applied research small project application aimed at strengthening the company’s technological capabilities and further developing its quality control processes. The project was submitted within the framework of the Applied Research Programme’s Small Projects Call, organized by the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS).
For any manufacturing company, quality is of central importance. In modern industry, a key challenge is ensuring a stable and reliable production process that meets both market expectations and evolving technological standards. The motivation behind this project was the company’s internal need to improve production quality and analyze specific bottlenecks in certain production stages.
The applied research project seeks to explore how technology – including the use of artificial intelligence – could help enhance production accuracy and efficiency. It also examines whether a better understanding of the production process could help prevent recurring issues and support the development of more advanced quality control systems. In essence, the project aims to develop an innovative solution to improve the reliability of production monitoring and analysis.
Haap Consulting supported Ensto Estonia AS throughout the entire funding application process – from structuring the project and defining its objectives to drafting the application and compiling the necessary documentation. Our team helped the company, in collaboration with EIS, to turn its technical ideas and development needs into a clear and compelling project that met the call’s requirements and aligned with the company’s business goals.
The direct result of this collaboration was a positive funding decision from EIS.
