AS A. Le Coq is part of the Olvi group. A. Le Coq is the oldest beer manufacturer in Estonia and currently has the broadest product portfolio in the beverage industry in the Baltic Sea region. The vision of A. Le Coq is to be the leading beverage producer in Estonia, creating positive experiences for their stakeholder groups. The company aims for sustainable business development, which increasingly means investing in and discussing topics related to environmental conservation and societal development.
The company’s goal is to reduce its environmental footprint annually. To this end, their next priority was to make further investments for more efficient use of heat and reduction of CO2 at the company’s production unit located at Laulupeo pst 15, Tartu.
To realize this vision, the company wished to apply for a grant from the Environmental Investment Centre’s application round. The purpose of this grant is to increase corporate resource productivity and contribute to a climate-neutral economy. A prerequisite for applying for the grant is a resource audit.
Haap Consulting has cooperated with AS A. Le Coq in previous funding rounds. This time, we assisted the company with the application form and the accompanying analyses. Our cooperation was successful, and the company’s project received approximately 700,000 euros in support from the Environmental Investment Centre.
